An
exclusive packaging procedure:
In
order to guarantee a best before end date of 21 days after
manufacture, Tartefrais use an oxygen absorber sachet which
is placed in the packaging before it is heat sealed.
This
sachet is made up of elements which satisfy all food safety requirements,
and is capable of fixing, in a way non reversible, the oxygen in
the air by changing the level of oxydation. Its use guarantees the
total absence of oxygen around the product during 21 days, from
the moment the packaging is completely sealed and is kept refrigerated
at +4°C. The absence of oxygen stops the development of the flora
recontaminants and slows down the oxidation which generates the
changing of colours and taste.
The
sachet has no side effects on the tart, for man or for the environment.
After opening the packaging the tart will last 2 days.
